The 2024 Laytonsville Community Parade is returning to Laytonsville this spring. You are invited to join us in celebrating on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The theme of the parade this year is "Service Through the Years". The parade date falls on Armed Forces Day and will be followed by the Spring Festival and Fun Run at Laytonsville Elementary School.
Participants or parade units can be a float, wagon, decorated vehicle, walking group, etc. On parade day vehicles will lineup on First and Second Streets and walking units will assemble in the area behind Saint Bartholomew Church. All parade participants should arrive no later than 10:00 AM for lineup. Volunteers will be available to assist you.
The 1 mile parade will start promptly at 11:00 AM and proceed from Sundown Road onto Route 108, through the Town of Laytonsville and conclude at Maple Knoll Lane. Prizes will be awarded for the best units so think about how you can impress the judges and help celebrate!
