APPLICATION TO BECOME A PLAYER MEMBER

We are delighted that you are interested in joining the Albury Wodonga Symphony Orchestra (AWSO)! Joining the orchestra is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with fellow musicians, perform inspiring repertoire, and be part of the cultural vibrancy of the Albury Wodonga region.

At AWSO, we strive for a well-balanced and harmonious ensemble. Although we would love to welcome every musician who applies, due to the specific number of instruments required for a balanced orchestra, membership spots can be competitive for some sections.

Types of Membership

By becoming a member of AWSO, you are helping to support our musical community, as an active performer or a supporter of the arts.

Annual membership fees are invoiced on July 1 each year. If you join part-way through the year, your membership fee will be calculated on a pro-rata basis (e.g. joining in January would mean paying 50% of the annual fee). The joining fee is not pro-rated.

AWSO offers two (2) types of membership:

1. Player Member (this form)
Apply to become a player member if you are a musician who will actively perform in the orchestra:
  • Fee (full): $180 yearly fee + $20 joining fee
  • Fee (school-aged student): $140 yearly fee + $20 joining fee
2. Non-Player Member
Apply to become a non-player member if you are an individual that wishes to support our organisation but will not play in the orchestra.
  • Fee: $20 yearly fee + $20 joining fee
If you would like to become a non-player member of AWSO, please apply via this form.
