MESA Day @ UC Santa Barbara General Volunteer Sign-up - Saturday, February 28, 2026
Hosted by the UCSB Office of Education Partnerships, Los Ingenieros, and National Society of Black Engineers. Join us for UC Santa Barbara MESA Day 2026 on February 28, 2026!
Volunteering opportunities are available from 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

MESA Day is an exciting community event dedicated to empowering over 300 middle and high school students in the UCSB MESA College Prep Program in the Santa Barbara area to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). With a core goal of increasing college-going rates, MESA provides academic and college preparation and career education to MESA students and their families, a strategy that has proven effective at preparing students for college admission and STEM careers. The full day is packed with hands-on STEM competitions, workshops, and college preparation activities. Students also have the opportunity to meet other MESA students and mentors, explore UCSB, and prepare for future success in STEM fields.
