The Board of Directors for the New England Sports Turf Managers Association (NESTMA) is accepting nominations for the “Sports Turf Manager of the Year.” This award recognizes a Sports Turf Manager currently working in New England who has made a significant contribution (local, regional and/or national) to the sports turf industry. Criteria for contribution is multi-faceted and might include successful management or maintenance practices, creative staffing or budgeting strategies, successful partnerships, technical improvements, improvements in safety and/or environmental stewardship. The award winner will be announced at the NESTMA Annual Meeting at the New England Regional Turf Conference in Providence, R.I on March 6, 2019. Help us to recognize your peers and the great work that they do in the care and maintenance of sports turf facilities in New England.
Criteria-Must be a current sports turf manager in New England-Must be an active member of NESTMA-Cannot be a current member of the NESTMA Board of Directors-Must have made a significant contribution to the sports turf industry whether local, regional or national. The contribution must be measurable and easily identifiable.
