For the first "Donate A Block" quilt drive, women from across the globe sent in old, new and especially made blocks to combine into a quilt for children with special needs. It was so successful and well received that a group of us from the first drive have partnered with Karen Lewis Textiles to do it again.
This time we want it to be bigger and better and to benefit lots of children and their families. As such, we have decided to collaborate with you to make kids quilts to donate to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and Boston Children's Hospital in the U.S.
We just ask that you send in any old, new or especially made quilt blocks that we can combine together with other's and transform into quilts that we can donate.
You can send one block, or 100! We will take whatever you want to donate - at a minimum size of 5" set. If you have unused quilt tops - we'll happily put them to good use and quilt them for you.
Please fill in your details below so we can thank you appropriately and look out for what you pop in the post and will accept anything in two phases. Phase One: until December 31st and Phase 2: January 31st.
