Role Description:
Oversees a team of writers and editors alongside the Editor in Chief, ensuring all content projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. This role involves coordinating editorial workflows, managing daily newsroom and content production operations, and maintaining an efficient editorial calendar. The Managing Editor sets clear expectations, communicates deadlines and goals, and ensures consistent editorial voice and standards across all platforms. 

About The Writing Team:
The Writing Team consists of writers and editors, who will each be expected to produce or edit ~2 articles per month. Our vision is to maintain a community of creatives who are passionate about promoting wellness in a space that is safe, vulnerable, and supportive. All articles should reflect HY's vision and be creative/nuanced. 

All Executive Board Members must adhere to the Hopelessly Yellow brand guidelines and be fully committed to leading their respective team.
