I like to Move it: Music and Motion
Please select the trips that you would like to attend this spring. (Reminder: The Collaborative is implementing a lottery based system and will assign trips equitably based on a random lottery assignment.) NOTE: Select only the dates that align with your school's schedule. The DC Collaborative team will be assigning them and booking transportation right away.

Due to the high demand, please limit your choices to your top preferences that best match your curricular goals. For more information on the individual trips, you may refer to the Arts and Humanities for Every Student online catalogue and feature pages, which outlines program descriptions as well as information on grade levels, curriculum connections and prep materials.

I LIKE TO MOVE IT: MUSIC AND MOTION
Presented by: Capital City Symphony
This concert explores the concept of TEMPO in music and introduces students to the instruments of the orchestra and their musical families. Music by Bizet, Johann Strauss II, Leroy Anderson, Beethoven, and local composer Charlie Barnett is presented in a lively and engaging way by conductor Victoria Gau to show students how music can "move it" - fast, slow, and everything in between!

This is a safety concern as we need to be able to reach teachers attending during the trip in the case of an emergency. The Collaborative will contact the Key Communicator AND the teacher attending to confirm registration after the lottery assignments are made. If the trip is not confirmed within 48 hours and the Key Communicator/Teacher attending do not respond to reminders, we will cancel the trip.
