2025 Youth Art Month Registration

Pleases have all of your materials ready at the time of filling out this form. Please make sure to accurately fill out all of the information in this form.

Artwork Requirements:
Each teacher is allowed to submit 5 pieces of artwork for the regional show. Three out of the five will be selected for the State Show.

Media release form must be filled out. No need to attach to the back of the work as long as you have it in your files.  (phone calls and emails to families are totally fine and then I fill in the form.) 
  • 3D work submitted as photos
  •  2D Color copies welcome
  •  All work mounted/matted; no frames
  •  Max. size = 20x26 including mat

All artwork will be physically submitted to the regional chair.

Labels
Print two sets of labels; attach labels on the bottom right corner for each work submitted.  Second label send with so the regional chair can have a list of artists’ labels.

No group pieces. All artwork must be created by one individual student within the last year. Only one artwork per student may be submitted.

Artwork MUST be from the artist’s own imagery, concept, and planning. Images that are of CELEBRITY, from DIRECT INTERNET SEARCHES or other imagery that is NOT THE ARTIST'S OWN REFERENCE cannot be entered as it is or may borderline plagiarism. Artwork that does not follow these guidelines will not be accepted.

MUST BE A MEMBER OF WAEA TO PARTICIPATE
All teachers will receive a gift from Pentel
The top 30 award winners will get a prize.
The top award winner will have their artwork displayed on the cover of the WAEA Art Times Magazine!

State Capitol Art Show is March 2-28 at East Towne Mall, Madison, WI. The reception is on March 28, 2025 from 12:00 noon - 1:00.
