ROOTS & ROUTES is an international network promoting cultural diversity and young artists all over Europe. It has been organising artistc projects in 12+ European countries since 2004 (www.rootsnroutes.eu). The project Future Lab Young Europe 2019 (FLYE19) is organised by the German partner organisation in the network, ROOTS & ROUTES Cologne (www.rrcgn.de) in cooperation with the partners from Italy, Greece, France, United Kingdom and Lithuania.

FLYE19 focuses on exchange of artistic experiences and creation of a transdisciplinary performances, movies and songs.

Dancers, musicians, media makers, optionally also spoken word artists, actors, acrobats are welcome (there will be no specific acting coach).

Kaunas Cultural Centre of Various Nations organizes the group of 1 leader and 5 participants from Lithuania. Age of participants: 18-30 years.

Accommodation, food, exchange programme will be covered by Erasmus+ programme. Travel costs from Lithuania will be covered up to 275 Eur/person.

The house in Baltrum is a low-comfort self-contained house on an island with no cars, located right next to a nature reserve. Very nice to work in a focused way, far away from everything. We will work there for two weeks, then present the results at the final night in Cologne. Since the house is self-contained, we will live, cook, eat and work together there; participants will have 2 days of kitchen service and 1 day of cleaning service during the Baltrum days.

Nov 8th, 2019, arrival to Cologne; we will leave all together in the morning of Nov 9th by group bus from Cologne to the ferry harbour.
Nov 22nd departure from Baltrum, presentation in Cologne on 23rd. Nov 24th departure of international participants from Cologne.

Here’s the documentary and a movie from the similar Baltrum 2017 project (the Art4Act one where you saw the final presentation):
