Benton Park CID Neighbor Survey
Benton Park Neighborhood Association is in the process of exploring the idea of creating a CID (Community Improvement District) for our neighborhood.

A CID is a geographically defined area where property owners agree to pay an additional tax to fund improvements and services that benefit that district. Benton Park would be able to collect the revenue from the additional tax and invest it directly into our neighborhood, in ways that neighbors decide are best for us.

The CID would be run by a board of Benton Park neighbors who would hold public meetings, and decisions on how to spend the revenue would be made by that board with direct input from the community. Many area neighborhoods (Soulard, Cherokee, Dutchtown, CWE, South Grand, and more) have CIDS which have been used to increase safety measures, invest in beautification, install street calming, supplement trash pickup, and increase overall quality of life and property values.

We have created this survey to get input from Benton Park residents. Thank you for your time answering the questions below.
