A series of Webinars "How to Break into Tech"
Online bootcamp Practicum by Yandex is excited to announce that we’ll be hosting a series of webinars "How to Break into Tech" in May.

Our series of webinars hosted by master programmers will walk you through the basics of becoming a skilled tech professional. This won’t be a simple to-do list. You’ll get hands-on experience with what beginners go through during their first years in programming, from tackling imposter syndrome, to getting involved in open source projects, building their own, and landing jobs.

•  07 May | 6 p.m. CST — Adrienne Tacke, a software engineer, writer, cloud developer instructor, and STEM education advocate. Adrienne’s talk will be focused on teaching how JavaScript array methods work and how to find a learning pattern that works for you.

•  19 May | 7 p.m. CST — Lauren McCarthy, an LA-based artist who’s examining social relationships in the midst of surveillance, automation, and algorithmic living. She's also the creator of p5.js and an Associate Professor at UCLA. Lauren will be talking about her own experience building and leading p5.js, getting involved in open source, and working in the art + tech space.
