Privacy and confidentiality:To link your survey responses over time, you will be asked to provide your school email address. Your email address and any other personal information will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of this study. After your responses are linked, any personally identifying information will be deleted and will not be included in any reports or shared outside of the research team. Only the research team will have access to the data.
Your email address, survey responses, and other data will not be shared with anyone outside the research team. Instructors may request information on survey completion (e.g., to provide course credit), but they will only be informed whether or not you've completed the survey. No individual responses or results will be shared with them.
Voluntary participation:
Participation in this evaluation project is voluntary. Choosing to participate or not participate will not impact your grade in the course. However, completing the surveys or other parts of the FinFutures experiences may still be required as a course assignment.
Risks and benefits:
There are no risks associated with participation beyond those of daily life. We intend that participating in this study will help develop budgeting skills and facilitate your transition into and through college. Additionally, your participation will help improve financial literacy education for future students.
Compensation:
There is no compensation or incentive for participation.
