Contributing writers who are hired will enter a 30-day probationary period. During this probationary period, they will be evaluated for how well they follow the templates and instructions provided by their editor to produce a piece for publication. 

Your contract will be terminated immediately if/when an assignment is submitted without following the specific guidelines given by your editor, and/or if you submit an assignment late. Writers are not owed any compensation for work submitted or completed if it fails to follow the guidelines and instructions provided in writing ahead of an assignment's deadline.

Deadlines will be clearly communicated via email and a project management dashboard to provide you ample time to review and prepare for successful completion of assignments.
