Dear Hoboken Community Member,

The Hoboken Public School District is embarking on a comprehensive journey to develop a new 5-Year Strategic Plan that will guide district actions and decisions in the coming years.

Central to this process is the revision of the district's vision and mission statement, along with the establishment of strategic goals. Two of these goals will be particularly significant: one will define the skills and attributes our students should possess upon graduation, and the other is a Long-Range Facilities Plan that will ensure our educational facilities support these aspirations.

This strategic plan must also reflect the aspirations of the community for the district's public schools. As such, your input is vital to the process. We will conduct surveys and host large and small group community meetings.

This survey contains a range of questions and gives you the opportunity to answer those on which you want to provide input and those you do not feel are necessary. Depending on the number of open-ended questions you choose to complete, the survey will take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to complete. Only one survey submission per person will be accepted. We welcome constructive feedback. However, any survey containing defamatory comments will not be included in the review process.

We urge you to help us with this process by completing and submitting one survey by Monday, May 5th.
