THREE DAYS WORKSHOP ON" TRANSFORMING BIO-RESOURCES INTO MARKET INNOVATIONS: EXTRACTION, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & PATENTING OF NTFPs & MEDICINAL PLANTS" FROM 05-07 AUGUST, 2026 ORGANIZED BY ICFRE-IFB, HYDERABAD
Applications are invited from B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. students of educational institutes, universities, and private institutions in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha, as well as from traditional healers, young entrepreneurs, start-ups in the herbal, cosmetic, natural pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical industries, and professionals interested in NTFP commercialization. They are invited to participate in a three-day offline training programme scheduled from 05–07 August 2026 at ICFRE–Institute of Forest Biodiversity, Hyderabad, Telangana. For traditional healers, young entrepreneurs, start-ups, and related professionals, formal educational qualifications will be relaxed to encourage wider participation.   
The Training is funded by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi, Government of India
The training is combination of both classroom sessions and field sessions
The medium of instruction is English to Hindi
1. Maximum 30 applicants will be selected based on their application
2. Last date of Registration will be 10 July, 2026
3. Selected candidates will be notified by 14th July, 2026
4. Confirmation of participation should be received by 16th July, 2026 failing which selection will be cancelled without any intimation to accommodate other interested applicant
5. No fee payment is required for the training, participation will be free of cost and the selection of participants will solely depend on the committee’s decision.
6.Participants will have to arrange their transport to the venue and return. Travels made by using public transport (Train up to sleeper Class, Bus non-Ac through shortest route will only be reimbursed on submission of tickets in original, Aadhaar as ID proof and Bank account Details).
7. Accommodation and local transport arrangements for the training days will be arranged by the organizers
8. Candidates should report to the venue by 04 August 2026 evening and plan their departure after 6:00 pm in the evening on 07 August or the early morning hours of 08 August, 2026
