Authorization to Transport Aquatic Plants and Prohibited Invasive Species to a Disposal Location
Eligible Permittees: Commercial entities such as lawn service, beach cleaning, or waste hauling contractors who transport aquatic plants and attached prohibited invasive species.

Scope: This general permit authorizes commercial entities (i.e. lawn service, beach cleaning, or waste hauling contractors) to transport aquatic plants with or without attached prohibited invasive species from riparian property to a disposal location. This general permit allows for transport between multiple collection sites before transporting to a disposal site and is valid for one calendar year.

Instructions: The business owner must complete the following information to apply for a permit. A permit to be signed, printed and carried while transporting aquatic plants and prohibited invasive species to a disposal location will be emailed to the permittee upon approval by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
