About the Workshop
Writing a good manuscript is critical in scientific communication. This is a skill that many acquire through years of training in writing papers. While there are many theoretical courses on how to write a good research paper, there are very few offered offering one-to-one hands-on training.
Workshop contents: In this one-to-one workshop on Research Paper Writing, we present a concise pointer on the points that are to be kept in mind for writing a good manuscript other than language editing alone. Structuring a manuscript, key points for representing data etc would be discussed in detail. We offer participants a chance for individual evaluation of a manuscript and offer feedback to ensure it fits the requisites of a good research article suitable for submission to a journal.
Beneficiaries: Any student who aims to communicate science at some point of his/her career would immensely benefit by this session. This includes, UG, PG students, Research scholars and others interested to learn the art of scientific writing.
