What kind of opportunities are you interested in?

Board Position- Vice President of Fundraising- Oversees all our fundraising events for the year. This person would be a team player and help with all events especially the fundraising events throughout the year. We hope to have someone who enjoys raising money and is a team player who is excited for helping raise money for SRE

Go Play Save Chair/Co-Chair - August/September. Working with and shadowing existing chairs

Go Play Save Volunteer - August/September. helping to prepare Go Play Save packets for the beginning of the year

Programs Chair in charge of organizing vendors for events

Book Fair Volunteers

KISS (Kids Invite Someone Special) Breakfast Volunteer - February. Helping set up breakfast, refilling food

Yearbook Chair/Co-Chair - Fall to spring. Work with admins and the yearbook company. Keep up with the deadlines and getting all the pictures and names as well as being comfortable with the online design.

Yearbook Volunteer - Late fall to spring. Possibly taking pictures and helping edit and sending out info.

Family Marathon Volunteer - February/March. Helping at some morning Run Clinics and/or sorting beads

Silent Auction Co-Chair - Spring. Working with and shadowing existing chairs

Silent Auction Volunteer - Spring. Helping to coordinate pickup of auction items from donors

Audit Committee- All year, we need 3 people. Family members of any of the board members who touch money cannot be on this

Nominating Committee- All year, we need at least 3 people (odd number) 2 board members and one PTA paid member

Advocacy Committee- All year, we are looking for at least 3 people

Website design and Social Media Chair/Co Chair- All year, if you are good at website design and social media we would love to have you join and keep our website and social media pages updated to keep families informed of everything going on at Scotts Ridge.

Possible Dance chair/co chair- help plan and execute a new event possibly a halloween dance 2 nights one for k-2nd and one for 3-5th grade

We love to hear what else you might like to see happen at SRE next year. We would love ideas and volunteers!
