The Freedom Archives
"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor."

Protesting for the freedom of others is never a fruitless effort.

If you participated in a protest for the freedom and liberty of those under violent regimes (recently or in years past) and you'd like to ANONYMOUSLY share what you saw/heard/advocated for, I will preserve and archive your stories.

My name is Alexis Amber, and I have a Masters Degree in Archiving and Preservation from LIU Post. I've worked under head archivists at the Vatican Archives in Rome, and over the last 5 years, I have created archives of Louisiana Cultural History. My most recent project, The Katrina Archives, offers survivors of Hurricane Katrina the chance to have their stories preserved.

This project, The Freedom Archives, seeks to prevent the loss of cultural history by creating a secure space for activists to report their experiences and have them professionally archived without editing or suppression.

There is no minimum or maximum length for responses, nor will any personal information be collected for safety reasons.

Your stories are invaluable and deserve to be saved.
