Seminar Title: Bitter Sweet Transition For Parents Of College Freshmen

Description: After 18 years of parenting, it is a bitter-sweet moment when we have to let go of our child as a college freshman.  This is a seminar that aims to discuss such roller coaster emotions as well as the changing role of a parent. In addition, it offers practical tips on how to prepare and manage such a transition; for example, suggestions on what to pack, how to deal with homesickness, help them to settle down in campus life, etc. As a Christian parent, more importantly we desire our child to keep a vital faith during the college years.
