2020 Spectrum Buddy Application
Spectrum Buddies are volunteers who work with performers and staff at each rehearsal to put together our show. Performers are the students, ages 5-19 who perform in our show. The staff includes artistic directors and a Support Team who work to make Spectrum Project fun and safe.
Summary of dates: Specific dates are detailed in the application
Buddy Training: January 12, 2020, 2-5 pm at Lincoln Elementary in Cedar Falls.
Rehearsals: Saturdays, 12:15 - 2:30 PM, Lincoln Elementary in Cedar Falls (corner of Franklin St. and 7th St.) beginning Jan. 18, 2020. No rehearsals before and after Spring Break.
If you are involved with Dance Marathon, we'll find a sub for you that day.
Dress rehearsals: Thurs., April 9, 6-8pm; Sat., April 18, 10-noon
FINAL SHOW: Sunday, April 19, 2:00pm

Performer Buddy - work 1-on-1 with performer
Switch Buddy - sub in for performer buddy when they are absent or need to use the restroom
Area Buddy - assist directors with instruction in one of our rooms (music, art, drama, movement)
Support Buddy - assists support staff
Tech Buddy - work with students who are on tech crew for the show
Safety Buddy - monitor hallways and exits to keep performers safe, work the sign-in desk for parents
Photography Buddy - Official Spectrum Project photographers
