EYH Buddies are Cornell volunteers who accompany conference participants whose parents or guardians could not make it to the conference. This commitment runs from about 8am to 5pm on the day of the conference. Along with being a Buddy comes free breakfast and lunch, a free (and stylish!) T-shirt, lots of fun workshops, and a day of inspiring girls to excel in STEM!
We are hoping for Buddies who can represent the experience of women, non-binary folks as t
he conference has a particular interest in providing opportunities for girls, as they have traditionally not had the same opportunities to be exposed to the STEM fields as boys. However, participation is not based on sex and is open to all.General Volunteers sign up for specific tasks and time slots throughout the day. Some examples of jobs are: helping people check in, helping set up food, helping participants find their workshops, and handing out t-shirts. After registering as a general volunteer on this form, you will be prompted to look at the available volunteer tasks/time slots and can email
CornellEYHvolunteers@gmail.com with your preferences for volunteer tasks/times.
General volunteers can be any gender.
