Special Olympics Championships - Volunteer Sign-Up - Sunday, August 20, 2023

Welcome to the 2023 Special Olympics Florida, Area 8, Competition being held at Nova Southeastern University, Davie, FL.

This is a wonderful event where over 200 swimmers with exceptionalities get to swim a multi-county, championship competition. There will be 2 sessions, Short Course followed by Long Course starting at 7am till approximately 3pm. Short Course is for our less experienced individuals with higher needs.

More specific times and duties will be emailed to volunteers closer to the competition date.

We need as many volunteers as possible to support various roles: Timers, Swimmer Assistants, Marshals. Students and adults welcome. Students will receive GENEROUS service hours documentation.
