To participate, we ask that you attend a one-hour orientation and commit to transcribing or editing at least one story a week for us. Volunteer editors must have previous post-university professional editing experience at a newsroom or publication. This is because of our commitment to rigorous editing, through which we train writers. We will review your application and notify you about our next orientation.
