We believe that everything we do, from the way we conduct business to the ingredients we use, should be rooted in honoring the Lord and stewarding His creation well.

At First Fridays Revival Market, we prioritize:

  • Godly Stewardship – We believe in honoring God's design in food, health, and business. Vendors are expected to uphold the highest standards in clean ingredients, ethical sourcing, and regenerative practices.
  • Community & Revival – We are here to serve, uplift, and encourage. This market is a space for all to gather, support one another, and share in a mission that brings glory to God.
  • Integrity & Purity – Vendors must be committed to providing products that are free from harmful, toxic ingredients. Transparency and honesty in sourcing and production are key values.

What We Expect from Our Vendors

As a vendor at First Fridays Revival Market, you are not just selling a product—you are joining a mission. By applying, you are affirming that:

✅ You commit to high standards of quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing, ensuring that what you sell is beneficial to both heart, body, mind, and soul.

Vendor fee: $50 per market (you will have the option below to select which markets you'd like to attend for the remainder of 2025).

List of Prohibited Items for Products and Produce

Prohibited Ingredients in Products:

  • High fructose corn syrup
  • Preservatives (synthetic or chemical-based)
  • Seed oils (canola, soybean, corn, sunflower, safflower, cottonseed, grapeseed, rice bran)
  • Artificial fragrances
  • Artificial dyes (FD&C colors, synthetic food colorings)
  • Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils (trans fats)
  • MSG (monosodium glutamate) and artificial flavor enhancers
  • Genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
  • Bleached flour
  • Synthetic emulsifiers (polysorbates, mono- and diglycerides)
  • Artificial sweeteners (aspartame, sucralose, saccharin)
  • Nitrates and nitrites (found in processed meats)
  • Ultra-processed ingredients
  • Factory-farmed animal products (must be pasture-raised, grass-fed, or regenerative)
  • Aluminum-containing additives (aluminum sulfate, baking powders with aluminum)
  • Soy protein isolate and other processed soy ingredients
  • Synthetic waxes or coatings on produce
  • Carrageenan and other inflammatory thickeners
Prohibited Sprays, Farming Practices, and Processing Methods:
  • Synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides (glyphosate/Roundup, atrazine, dicamba, chlorpyrifos)
  • Synthetic fertilizers (only organic compost or natural amendments allowed)
  • Genetically modified seeds or plants (must be organic, heirloom or non-GMO)
  • Post-harvest chemical treatments (ethylene gas for ripening, synthetic waxes, fungicides)
  • Soil fumigants and chemical soil sterilizers
  • Artificial growth hormones and antibiotics in animal products
  • CAFO (concentrated animal feeding operation) practices—animals must be pasture-raised, free-range, or grass-fed
  • Irradiated foods (foods exposed to radiation to extend shelf life)
  • Hydroponic or lab-grown produce (only soil-grown, regenerative practices allowed)
  • Chlorine or chemical washes on produce, dairy, or meats
  • Synthetic preservatives in farm-grown or processed foods

Vendor Categories: 

1. Produce from Agricultural Producer that has been grown on the producer’s land with no spray/pesticides

2. Meat, Eggs, Dairy, Honey from Agricultural Producer: Meat from animals born and bred on the producers’ land and processed at a USDA inspected facility as well as processed meat products such as bacon, jerky and sausage, or products such as eggs, cheese, yogurt, honey (100% grass-fed/grass-finished meat, free-range/pasture-raised poultry, wild-caught seafood, beehives not treated with harsh chemicals) 

3. Foraged and wild-crafted items where the producer responsibly wild harvests a raw agricultural product from their own land, leased-land or public land (where foraging is allowed) and packages the item(s) with minimal additional ingredients. 

4. Baked Goods from Cottage Law Bakers out of their home or lease kitchens with healthy products. 

5. Canned or Prepared Foods: Vendors offer freshly made food and drinks available for sale and immediate consumption on-site. These products may be hot or cold ready-to-eat foods or drinks. 

6. Artisan: Hand-crafted goods, made by the vendor, such as beauty and skincare products, jewelry, art, ceramics, yarn, soap, tallow, etc. 

7. Sponsor: No physical products sold. Business promotion, member sign-up, hand out information. 

8. Nonprofit: Non-profit, non-partisan organizations may apply for complimentary booth space at any market based on availability. Such as mission outreach, pet adoption, blood drives, 4-H, food pantry collection, etc.

Market Details & Vendor Responsibilities

💲 Booth Fee & Space:

  • Booth fee is $50 per space (10’ x 10’). Additional space available upon request.
  • Vendors must have products approved before selling.
  • Once approved, vendors must pay at least one week in advance to secure their space and facilitate market layout planning.

🎪 Setup & Equipment:

  • Vendors must provide their own natural color (no bright colors) 10’ x 10’ tent, tent weights, tables, and signage.
  • Arrival & Setup: Vendors should arrive between 1:30 – 2:00 PM to set up and be ready to start selling by 3:00 PM
  • Tear-Down: Vendors are expected to stay until 7:00 PM. If sold out early, vendors should take pre-orders, educate visitors about their products, and promote their social media pages.

Electricity:

  • Limited electricity is available for a $10 fee, with priority given to vendors using freezers, refrigerators, or cooking on-site.
  • Vendors needing electricity for cooling fans or POS systems should bring battery-operated options & charging boxes (110v).
  • No generators allowed.

🚗 Parking & Unloading:

  • Vehicles are not permitted in the market area. Vendors must unload quickly, park, and then set up.
  • All vehicles must be removed from the vendor area by 2:30 PM.
  • Vendors should park at the Pungo Square Shopping Center (1776 Princess Anne Rd).

📝 Permitting/Licensing Requirements:

  • All vendors must have a Virginia Beach Farmers Market Permit and current business license.

🚮 Trash & Clean-Up:

  • This is a farm field—vendors must leave no trace behind.
  • Trash cans are provided, but vendors should be mindful of keeping their space clean.

📞 Communication & Scheduling:

  • All vendor communication must be done via email.
  • Any market date changes, cancellations, or transfers must be in writing via email and require confirmation from the market manager.

🌍 Plastic-Free Goal:

  • Vendors are encouraged to use biodegradable, compostable, or reusable packaging whenever possible to help reduce plastic waste and support a sustainable future.

Modest & Professional Attire and Language

  • Vendors should wear modest, respectful, and professional attire that aligns with the market’s family-friendly, faith-based atmosphere.
  • Clothing with offensive, inappropriate, or suggestive images, phrases, or symbols is not permitted.

☀️ Attitude & Atmosphere:

  • Smile. Respect others. Treat people as you would want to be treated. HAVE FUN!

🚻 Restrooms:

  • Available on-site for vendor and customer convenience.

⛈️ Refund Policy:

  • Refunds will be issued if the market is canceled due to weather.
  • Vendors can also choose to apply their booth fee toward the following month.

Vendor Expectations: I support an environment of encouragement, community, and integrity and will ensure that all interactions reflect a spirit of revival and Christian hospitality. I understand that failure to uphold these values may result in removal from the market.

Clean Ingredients & Ethical Sourcing: I agree to uphold clean, wholesome, and God-honoring ingredients in all products I sell. (See prohibited ingredients list). I commit to maintaining high standards of quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing, ensuring that my products are beneficial to both body and soul.
