We're always looking for amazing people to join the wonderful volunteer team that make Machynlleth Comedy Festival happen. If you'd like to do something amazing please complete the below to apply.

Please note, even if you have volunteered/worked for us in the past you are required to fill out the below form (it makes things so much easier for us to have all your up to date info on one sheet). We have roles available that require different levels of skills and experience, the main quality we're looking for is that you're excited about helping to make something incredible happen.
Your application will be processed on receipt and we will contact you as soon as we can. If you don't get an immediate response, don't worry, we will contact you - we are a tiny team!

There are a limited number of volunteer positions available and once positions are filled we will close the application process.

We also draw our paid management roles from this application process so please provide all relevant experience if you are keen to be considered for positions with increased responsibility.

If you are looking to offer your technical skills (sound and light) then please fill in the technician form instead.

Volunteers receive a crew wristband which entitles them to a camping pitch on our campsite, crew breakfast from Friday to Monday, and, when you're off-duty, free entry to any shows with spare capacity.

Volunteers will typically be allocated 3 shifts of between 3-5 hours in length over the weekend. Paid management roles require longer time commitments.

This is for us to find out a little more about you so we can best place you within the team. The more we know about you the easier it is for us to correctly place you within our existing team.
Your answer
As the festival grows we are often looking to fill management positions. Please indicate if this is of interest to you.
Management positions come with added responsibility, and longer hours, but also come with a payment. Your skills, experience and time commitment will need to be higher than for a voluntary position.
Are you available for the crew briefing, festival set up and take-down? *
All crew, where possible, are required to attend the crew briefing and to help with the set up and take down. Many hands make light work and so offering your time for pack-down on Monday 6th May is of particular help to us.
T-Shirt Size *
You will receive a crew t-shirt to wear when you are on-duty. If it's cold then remember that you may be wearing it over warmer clothes.
Any dietary requirements? *
This is for the crew meal on Thursday which takes place after the crew briefing.
Do you speak Welsh? *
Not a necessity, but very useful for us to know.
Are you First Aid trained *
Again... just good for us to know.
