Baltimore City Weed Warriors Certification Class Series - Pre-Register!
Weed Warriors is a city-wide program focused on restoring our urban forest through the removal of invasive plant species by environmental stewards. All are welcome!

Certified Weed Warriors are volunteers and advocates permitted to work in parks and remove invasive vegetation without the supervision of park employees.

Steps to certification:
1. Attend the 101, 102 and 201a/b course
2. Participate in a group invasive vegetation removal event.

Certified Weed Warriors receive a certification card, Weed Warriors t-shirt, invasive vegetation identification guide, and curriculum resources. Certification and classes are free and open to the public!

Classes are slightly different this season to promote social distancing practices. WW 102 and 202 will be held outdoors under the Ben Cardon pavilion, with a maximum of 20 folks per session--masks required.
