Baltimore City Weed Warriors Certification Class Series
Weed Warriors is a city-wide program focused on restoring our urban forest through the removal of invasive plant species by environmental stewards.

Certified Weed Warriors are volunteers and advocates permitted to work in parks and remove invasive vegetation without the supervision of park employees. Certification requirements include a 3 part class series and participation in a group invasive vegetation removal event. The class curriculum includes invasive species identification, their impacts on Baltimore’s urban ecosystem, removal methods, creating management plans and leadership training. Certification and Classes are free and open to the public!
