2017 $500,000 Lemelson-MIT Prize Nominee Suggestion
Suggest a potential nominee for the $500,000 Lemelson-MIT Prize. The Lemelson-MIT Program will explore your suggestion and reach out to relevant organizations to encourage a nomination. (Please note, self-nominations are not allowed).

Nominee's must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and in mid-career, which is defined as having received their bachelor’s degree no more than twenty-five years post undergraduate degree from the year of the award. A nominee for the 2017 $500,000 Lemelson-MIT Prize must have graduated in 1992 or later. The nominee must also be the primary inventor of two or more granted U.S. patents, one of which is a product or process that has been commercialized or has potential or realized adoption.
