Metea Valley High School Distinguished Alumni Nomination Form

The distinguished alumni award at Metea Valley embodies the importance of setting LIFE goals as reflected in the METEA LIFE statement: Live with Integrity | Inspire Passion for Learning | Foster Positive Relationships | Expect Equity and Excellence for all.  Metea celebrates alumni who serve as role models for our current students and school community.  MVHS honors those who have exhibited outstanding contributions in their area of study or work.    

Eligible nominees include alumni from graduation years 2012-2022.

The selection committee, consisting of faculty and administration, will review all applications and select a final candidate to receive the award each year.

The following procedures will be followed:

  • Metea Valley families and students, staff, retired staff, and all interested parties are asked for nominations.

  • Self-nominations are welcome. 

  • Semi-finalists will be selected and sent a questionnaire to acquire further information regarding their interest and to determine if they could attend and address the senior class at an awards ceremony.

  •  All nominations will be kept on file and referred to for consideration in subsequent years.
