Presentation and Outreach Requests
Please complete the form below to request a representative from the Monarch Joint Venture to present or table for your group or event. This form is a request only, not a guarantee that MJV will be at your event. Presentations and presence at events are limited to locations in which MJV staff are based and subject to availability of MJV staff.

Someone will contact you within 1-2 weeks to confirm your program or event request. 

Our program/presentation fees are as follows:
  • Virtual Q&A with an expert - 30 minutes, live | $30 | Ages: all
  • Virtual presentation with Q&A (pre-prepared or customized) - 45-60 minutes, live | $75 | Ages: 4th grade to adults
  • In person presentation - 45-60 minutes | $150 | Ages: all

Topics include:

  • Monarch Overview - Life cycle, migration, population, conservation
  • Gardening for Monarchs
  • Monarch Community Science
  • Science Updates (population dynamics and drivers, changing climate, threats, or habitat selection)
  • The "Why" of Community Science
For presentations that require more than 60 minutes travel time (round trip), Monarch Joint Venture will bill for mileage at the government rate. If travel time is more than 1 hour, that time will also be billed an additional $20/hr. If your presentation requires an overnight stay, we will work with you to determine an appropriate fee.

These fees are in addition to applicable program fees listed above.

Due to the small nature and limited geography of our staff we are more likely to be able to meet requests for programs that can cover these fees and are near to where staff are located.

Tabling events are free but depend on staff availability. We are more likely to be able to attend tabling events where we can sell our Monarch Store merchandise.

We are busiest April - September and may not be able to accommodate all requests for events that fall during this time.
