York Affordable Housing Committee (YAHC) is hosting its first ever Student Housing Design Consultations and you’re invited!
YAHC works to create affordable housing solutions for students, offering free housing support workshops and leading research on student housing challenges. Our goal is for every York University student to have access to safe, affordable, and inclusive housing on/near campus, that fosters well-being and academic success.
We’ll work together to:
- Identify key housing challenges faced by York students.
- Vote on the best site options for potential student housing.
- Collaboratively define what works and what "good" student housing design should look like.
Student Housing Design Consultations — Friday Nov 21, 2025 @ 5pm - 9pm
Location: HNES Building, Room 140, York University (Look for signage leading up to the room!)
