Twisted Tales of Poe Virtual Audition Form
Directed by Ruthanne Munger Production Dates: October 30-31, 2020 "Halloween!"

Edgar Allen Poe's mysterious and macabre tales “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Cask of Amontillado,” “The Raven", and "The Black Cat" form the basis of TWISTED TALES OF POE. This production will be presented as a radio-style drama - LIVE, ON-STAGE, with LIVE SOUND EFFECTS, and LIVE STREAMED on Halloween weekend!

Parts are available for several men and women; a minimum of 9 are needed. If you're familiar with Poe, you know that the stories are dark, creepy, and can be gory and may not be appropriate young children. SPECIAL NOTE: Family groups of 2, 3, 4, or more are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to audition. People who share a home would probably feel comfortable sharing a microphone! :) And what a great way for a family to share a creepy, socially distanced, holiday together.

2-4 "Foley Artists" to create the live sound effects.
1 keyboard player who would enjoy improvising in the style of melodramas - with lots of minor chords! :)
