Room Parents are a helpful resources for our VMS teachers. They organize volunteers for classroom needs,  schedule out-of-class social meetups, and help facilitate the creation of a class memory book. We would love to have 2 volunteers per classroom, and each room parent can expect to contribute roughly 2- 3 hours of time a month. Are you interested in being a room parent for the next school year?

Every day, hot lunch is served at VMS with the help of parent volunteers. We will need volunteers Monday through Friday from approximately 11AM - 12:30 PM. If you are interested in helping serve lunch, please mark any days you are available. There is a small Choice Lunch discount for those who do lunch service. Ideally this is at least a once a week position throughout the school year. 

VMS is always looking for ways to share unique life experiences with our students. Do you have a hobby or profession you would be willing to share with the students? If so, please share details.

VMS is looking for a team of parents who are interested in taking photos at school events and during scheduled classroom visits. Are you interested in taking photos?

We regularly need parent volunteers to assist with community events, back to school nights, open houses, and other events for set up, clean up, food serving, meal preparation, etc. Would you be interested in being put on a list for the school to contact you for your assistance as needed?

As VMS is a non-profit, we have an annual fund campaign every year that is vital to our financial health. Would you like to help with promoting our annual fund?

Our annual auction requires a lot of hands-on volunteers for set-up, clean-up, decoration making, etc. Would you like to help with the annual spring auction?

Every May our art teacher, Jill, hosts an Art Show. She will need many volunteers to help with setting up and taking down the artwork. Are you interested in assisting with our annual art show?

Our Spanish Teacher, Isabel, is looking for volunteers interested in assisting in the Spanish classroom by reading books in Spanish, talking to the children in Spanish, or sharing cultural practice with the children in Spanish. Are you interested in assisting with this?
