A Chartered Accountant is a person who has aced the examinations and attended the 3 years practical training held by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which was founded in 1949 under the act of  Parliament. The individual who pursues CA will  be well-versed in accounting, auditing, costing, taxation and other areas of  commerce.
