HEADING
Answer the questions below to complete your heading. Your name and personal information should be the first thing an employer sees so that there is no doubt who this resume belongs to. Make sure to use correct spelling and capitalization.
Your Full Name *
Capitalize the first letter of your First, Middle, and Last name. For example, John Anderson Smith.
Address *
This is your street address. Do not abbreviate Road, Street, etc. Spell everything out. This is a formal document. Also, the name of your road is a proper noun. Capitalize the first letter of each word in the name of your address. For example 100 Tom Poe Drive NE.
City, State Zip Code *
Again, do not abbreviate. Also, the city and state are proper nouns and the first letter needs to be capitalized. For example, Rome, Georgia, not rome, ga.
Your Phone Number *
You can use parentheses to separate your area code from the phone number, like, (706) 236-1860. Or you can use a dash, like, 706-236-1860. Either is fine.
Your Email Address *
This needs to be a personal email address. Do not use your floydstudent email address because once you graduate you will no longer have access to it. PLEASE DO NOT USE A SILLY OR INAPPROPRIATE NAMED EMAIL ADDRESS, like slugger22 or thugsarecool19. It needs to be an appropriately named email address since this is a professional document and you want the employer to take you seriously. If you do not have a personal email or you have an inappropriate or silly named email, go to gmail.com and create a new email address. It needs to have your name in it, like jasmith99@gmail.com or something like that.
