Training
To assist employees with the high costs of RLD training and licensing, National Protection Personnel LLC offers a training contract covering the cost of all Level 1, 2, and 3 training, a one-time background check, and half the price of a psychological evaluation, subject to the following conditions:
  1. 9-Month Employment Requirement: An employee must work for National Protection Personnel for 9 months after their hire date to fully cover these costs. If an employee leaves before 9 months, they must reimburse the company for the remaining unworked time. (e.g., if they work 6 months, they pay back the cost equivalent to 3 months). The deductions will be taken from the employee's final check.

  2. Missed Appointments: If an employee misses a scheduled background check or psychological evaluation, the cost will be deducted from their next paycheck.

  3. Expired Documents: If a background check or psychological evaluation expires before RLD submission, the employee must pay for a new one. If the employee cannot pay upfront, National Protection Personnel will temporarily cover the expense and deduct the amount from the employee's next paycheck.

RLD License Costs: National Protection Personnel will cover RLD license costs upfront, but these costs will be immediately deducted from the employee's next paycheck, regardless of the 9-month period.

Estimated Costs (Untaxed, Subject to Change):

  • RLD Security Officer Applications (L1, L2): $50.00 each

  • RLD Security Officer Application (L3): $75.00

  • Background Check: $59.00

  • Psychological Evaluation: $300.00 (Company covers $150.00)

Application Process
Should you satisfy the requirements for employment consideration, a contingent offer of employment will be forwarded via email. This correspondence will specify the date and time for the New Employee Orientation, along with all required necessary supporting documentation that each applicant will need to bring with them.

Required Documents:
  • Original or certified copy of applicant's birth certificate.
  • Copy of the applicant's driver's license, issued by the state of which the applicant resides in.
  • Copy of the applicant's high school diploma or GED.
  • Copy of the applicant's social security card.
  • Copy of current/active Commissioned Security Officer, Security Guard, Security Officer, Personal Protection Officer, or Private Investigator Card / License / Registration / Certificate, issued in the state by which the applicant is applying.
  • Support of Selective Service System Classification / Registration - if no military service.
  • Copy of applicant's DD Form 214 - if applicable.
If a contingent offer of employment has been extended, the applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug test for the presence of marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, propoxyphene, PCP, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methaqualone, methadone, and ecstasy.

A positive result exceeding the screening cutoff threshold will deem the applicant ineligible for employment.

Acceptance of the formal offer of employment is contingent upon the successful verification of the applicant's eligibility to work within the United States. In accordance with federal law, specifically the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), the newly hired employee will be mandated to complete the Employment Eligibility Verification Form, commonly known as Form I-9.

This essential step requires the new hire to personally attest to their employment authorization and to provide acceptable, unexpired documentation that establishes both their identity and their eligibility to work. The employee must furnish original documents, which are specified in the "Lists of Acceptable Documents" provided on the reverse side of the I-9 Form. This list is categorized into three sections:
  • List A (documents that establish both identity and employment authorization)
  • List B (documents that establish identity only)
  • List C (documents that establish employment authorization only)

The employee may present one document from List A or one document from List B and one document from List C. Failure to produce the required documentation within the federally mandated timeframe following the start of employment will regrettably result in the immediate termination of employment, as the organization is legally prohibited from employing individuals who have not complied with this verification process.
Completion of Application:

This application must be completed exclusively by the applicant. All questions and sections MUST be answered. Please insert "N/A" (not applicable) if the question or field is irrelevant to the applicant or the position for which the application is being submitted, and "None" if there are no listings to report.

The accurate completion of this application serves, in part, as an evaluation of the applicant's written communication skills and adherence to instructions, which are critical proficiencies in this industry. An incomplete or illegible application will not be processed. Honesty and integrity will be assessed throughout the process; therefore, candid and truthful responses are required.

Any false information provided or disclosed by the applicant, or any false statement, inaccurate answer, material omission, or otherwise misleading representation made in conjunction with the applicant’s employment application or during any stage of the screening, interviewing, or hiring process, shall be grounds for immediate disqualification. Such actions will definitively result in a decision to not hire the applicant for the position for which they applied, or any other open position within the organization, and may impact the applicant's eligibility for future consideration. The accuracy and integrity of all application materials are paramount to the organization's hiring standards.

A resume is encouraged but will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application for employment.

This application is considered current for thirty (30) days from date submitted. At the end of the thirty (30) day period, the applicant may reapply if still interested.
