VACE Call for Programs
Please complete the proposal form by January, 20, 2026.  Program proposals will be reviewed and decisions made by  February 10, 2026. VACE 2026 Conference will be held at Hotel 24 South in Staunton, VA from Wednesday, April 22 until Friday April 24, 2026.

Program proposals for the annual conference will be evaluated and selected individually by the Program Committee. The goal is to offer conference attendees a comprehensive variety of topical, current, innovative, and relevant sessions from which to choose. Below are some suggested topics for presentation:
  • Diversity Equity and Inclusion - Current Issues and Strategies
  • Retention in the Classroom and/or the Office
  • Self Care for Students, Partners, and the Self
  • Best Practices in Job Searching & Hiring
  • Best Practices in Employer Engagement
  • Best Practices for Engaging and Motivating Students 
  • Alumni: The Hidden Tool and How To Use Them
  • Salary & Benefits: Assessment, Negotiation, and Reality for Students
  • Importance/Implementation of NACE Competencies in the Workplace
  • Professional Development: Continuing Learning After The Degree
  • Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Artificial Intelligence 

Be sure to include all requested program information clearly. Submitted programs should be engaging to either college career professionals, employers, or both, with clearly defined benefits for attendees.
