Application To Officiate
New England Swimming SCY Senior Championship

December 18 to 21, 2025 (three and half days)
Welcome to the Application to Officiate at New England Swimming's 2025 SCY Senior Championship hosted by North Shore Swim Club at the Pan Athletics Center on the campus of Phillips Academy Andover. All officials are asked to complete the Application To Officiate to help with meet planning. Host Team officials are reminded that they also need to submit an application. As always, whether you work the entire meet or just one session your assistance is greatly appreciated and walk-ons are always welcome.
If your Application To Officiate is received by the meet entry deadline for teams and athletes your work commitments should count towards the championship meet work requirements for your team pursuant to New England Swimming policy.
The intent is for this meet to be designated by USA Swimming as a National Qualifying Meet (OQM) for all officials who wish and are eligible to be evaluated for advancement or re-certification. Opportunities will exist for N2 and N3 evaluations in all positions as approved by USA Swimming. All officials seeking an evaluation should complete and submit this Application to Officiate and are asked to complete the Request for Evaluation form and send the completed document to Ken Galica at
KennethGalica@gmail.com. As an OQM, this meet is open to officials from all LSC’s. Officials not requesting evaluations are also requested to help with the pre-meet planning for this meet by stating their availability to help as soon as possible.
The uniform for all preliminary sessions (including the distance session Thursday evening) is blue bottoms with white polo shirts. The uniform for all finals sessions will be khaki bottoms and navy blue polo shirts.
Note: all briefings will begin 60 minutes prior to the start of each session or other time to be determined.
