The Youth Photo League (YPL) is the Bronx Documentary Center’s free documentary photography and college success program for middle and high school students. In this program, students learn how to use photography, writing, and research to explore social justice issues, preparing them for college and future careers. High school students and their families participate in extensive college prep programming, including one-on-one counseling, financial aid workshops, and college tours. All experience levels are welcome, and cameras and materials are provided by the BDC.
