Evaluation of the Product Portal of the TCS GNSS Data & Products
This survey aims at testing GNSS Product Portal (https://gnssproducts.epos.ubi.pt). This is part of the initial stage of the Pre-Operational Test (POT) activity carried out in the frame of the ongoing EPOS Pre-Operational Phase (POP). More information about our TCS can be found on our landing site: https://gnss-epos.eu. In short, our TCS provides, in close collaboration with EUREF (http://www.euref.eu), the access to GNSS data from thousands of stations in Europe. In addition, it has many quality control processes in place that ensure the accuracy of the data. Next, various analysis and combination centres analyse these data and produce time series, velocities and strain rate maps. These latter products can be downloaded from the Product Portal that is the topic of this survey. Figure 1 below summarises the flow of data from Data providers to the various portals.

In the coming weeks, the TCS GNSS Data & Products community is going to test some services / functionalities of its portals in order to obtain feedback on its "usefulness" and "functionality". Based on the response we get, we will modify and improve the portals where necessary.

This survey targets diverse communities with different backgrounds, thus some information can be trivial for some people and too skilled for others. You have the opportunity to provide general comments at the end of the survey.

Our first task is for you to got to the product portal (https://gnssproducts.epos.ubi.pt) in another window and try to log-in. The log-in button is located at the top-right of the screen of the portal. If you don't have an account, try to create one. Did you succeed in this task?

Once you are logged-in, you can download time series, velocities and strain-rate maps. Try to enter the station AQUI in the search box as shown in the figure in order to see the position time series for the station near L'Aquila. The time series show the earthquake that happened on 2009-04-06. Did you manage to see the time series?

The right panel shows time series produced by the various EPOS, EUREF and EPOS-EUREF Analysis/Combination centres. Can you the download the time series in PBO format?

If you click with the mouse on any area outside the right panel with the time series, you can select to search for velocities, see figure. Search again for the AQUI station in the search box. Did you succeed?
