Valentine's/1000th Day of School Party
On February 12th our class will be having our Valentine's party as well as celebrating the student's 1000th day of school. We will be having an optional Valentine Card exchange in conjunction with the party. Students are welcome to bring a decorated box or bag to collect their cards in.  The card exchange is optional. If your student would like to participate please remember that food items are NOT allowed with the cards. Toys, pencils, erasers, etc. are allowed to accompany cards, but are not required. Any students participating will need to bring a card for each member of our class, 27 students total.  Online students are welcome to bring cards prior to the party and I will exchange their cards for them, as well as a box to collect their cards from other students in.  Due to COVID concerns, students will use hand sanitizer prior to passing out cards.

We will also be having a class party on this day. We will be using food items as part of our party.  There will be optional items for students who are not able to have them.  I am also asking for donations of toothpicks and bags of mini marshmallows.  Students will be placed in groups and tasked with building a structure using 1000 toothpicks held together with marshmallows.  If you are able to help with the toothpicks and marshmallows, please send them with your student to school, prior to February 11th.  We will be needing 1000 toothpicks and one bag of mini marshmallows for each of our six groups.  Please indicate below, allowing permission for your student to handle and consume the following items as well as participation with our card exchange.
