Data security and privacy

LUSP shall ensure the integrity and transparency of its data processing, security and personal privacy measures so that the data subject is informed of the existence of the processing activity and its purposes. It shall examine the report submitted and the handling of the situation described therein without disclosing or compromising the whistleblower’s identity and in compliance with the general data protection requirements.

You have the right to withdraw the submitted data and the given consent by contacting the University of Latvia Students' Council data processing controller to the e-mail address: lusp@lusp.lv!

In accordance with Section 9(3) of the Whistleblowing Law, University of Latvia Student's Council reserves the right to apply to the institution or court on behalf of the submitter of the report who is a member of the relevant organisation or a person whose interests it represents in accordance with the Articles of Union, and to defend the rights and lawful interests of the submitter without special authorisation.
