For the Haig Park Experiments Project
Community Cultural Program - Expressions of interest
A new venue is about to pop up in the forest as part of Haig Park Experiments. Proudly presented by City Renewal Authority.

BUBBLE is an inflatable, inhabitable, sculptural pavilion designed by Sydney-based immersive art creators, Goldberg Aberline Studios. The translucent BUBBLE provides shelter from the elements, whilst still revealing the beautiful treescape of the forest.

BUBBLE has been created as a movable, multi purpose space for park dwellers to gather and share in a community cultural program of events and activities.

Expressions of Interests are now open to be a part of BUBBLE's Program, to be presented in Haig Park at lunchtimes and in the early evenings from 12 September - 13 October 2019. Collaborate with us by hosting a workshop, talk, activity, performance, installation, exhibition, activation or intervention in BUBBLE!

BUBBLE has a flexible layout, a capacity of up to 30 people and is furnished with bespoke seating. Aside from the space itself, your event will receive technical and production support, and assistance from the Haig Park Experiments team. Your event will be promoted in the BUBBLE program through our marketing channels. Events in BUBBLE must be inclusive and free to attend, with bookings taken for limited capacity events.

If you have a fantastic idea to engage your community in this wonderful venue in the park, we would like to hear from you. We have a small support budget and will provide one off grants for events.

Applications close Monday 19 August 2019. Selections will be made by the Haig Park Experiments team and successful applicants will be notified by Friday 23 August 2019.
