The ISTE Global Collaboration PLN Annual Award for 'Innovation in Online Global Collaboration' is open to educators at all levels of K-12 as well as college/university and higher education. The purpose of this award is to acknowledge innovation in the design and implementation of online global collaboration for learning.
This award is designed to recognize groups as well as individuals who support Innovation in Online Global Collaboration. Please complete this application using a single person’s name and then identify the rest of the members in the Collaboration partners section. If you would like to include additional details, please include them in the final section.
Global collaboration broadly refers to geographically dispersed educators, classrooms, schools and other learning environments that use online technologies to learn with others beyond their immediate environment in order to support curricular objectives, intercultural understandings, critical thinking, personal and social capabilities and ICT capabilities.
To be eligible for this award applicants must be able to show evidence of the global collaboration being: - Designed - Collaborative - Active - Constructive - Innovative - Authentic
Nominees are judged on - Exemplifying ISTE Standards for Teachers. - Contribution made to the advancement of global collaboration and learning using online digital technologies. - Global collaboration criteria. - Reflecting the mission and purpose of ISTE.
