Global Collaboration PLN Award Nomination Form 2017
The annual ISTE awards recognize exceptional educators and leaders who are paving the way for connected and globally collaborative learning. We seek those whose exemplary work provides a model for teaching, learning and leading in the digital age.

The ISTE Global Collaboration PLN Annual Award for 'Innovation in Online Global Collaboration' is open to educators at all levels of K-12 as well as college/university and higher education. The purpose of this award is to acknowledge innovation in the design and implementation of online global collaboration for learning.

This award is designed to recognize groups as well as individuals who support Innovation in Online Global Collaboration. Please complete this application using a single person’s name and then identify the rest of the members in the Collaboration partners section. If you would like to include additional details, please include them in the final section.

Global collaboration broadly refers to geographically dispersed educators, classrooms, schools and other learning environments that use online technologies to learn with others beyond their immediate environment in order to support curricular objectives, intercultural understandings, critical thinking, personal and social capabilities and ICT capabilities.

To be eligible for this award applicants must be able to show evidence of the global collaboration being:
- Designed
- Collaborative
- Active
- Constructive
- Innovative
- Authentic

Nominees are judged on
- Exemplifying ISTE Standards for Teachers.
- Contribution made to the advancement of global collaboration and learning using online digital technologies.
- Global collaboration criteria.
- Reflecting the mission and purpose of ISTE.

Nomination materials that are deemed excellent may be shared and highlighted through ISTE channels. By submitting a nomination for an award, ISTE reserves the right to reproduce information/photos/other content in ISTE publications and on the ISTE website. By submitting material that contains images of students and other individuals, you assume complete responsibility for obtaining appropriate release consent forms and permission to transfer these materials to ISTE.
