2023-2024 Brandon-Evansville Chromebook & Network Use Registration Form for Grades 6-12
Students must comply with the Mobile Device Handbook found on the Brandon-Evansville website
Students must bring their Chromebook to school every day fully charged.
Each Chromebook is assigned to an individual student. Students will never “swap” or “share” their Chromebooks.
Students will never share their password with another student. Passwords should always be kept confidential.
Students will not leave their Chromebook unattended in an unsecured or unsupervised location.
Students will report any damage or lost Chromebooks to the technology department immediately.
Students will not remove or interfere with asset tags, serial numbers or other identifications.
Students may not remove or change the physical structure of the Chromebook., such as keys, screen, cover or case.
Students will not put stickers or other accessories on the Chromebook without administration approval.
Students will not carry their Chromebook while the screen is open unless directed to do so by a teacher.
Students will carry their Chromebooks in their district issued case without any other objects in the case, such as notebooks, textbooks or papers. 
Brandon-Evansville Public School will not allow any unauthorized photos, video, and/or audio recordings of themselves or any other person in an inappropriate manner.
Students will keep food and beverages away from my Chromebook.
Students will be responsible for loss and damages caused by neglect or abuse.

Device Insurance

Brandon-Evansville Public Schools will repair or replace damaged equipment resulting from normal use. Costs for all other breakages will be the responsibility of the student/parent/guardian. Loss or theft of the device is also the responsibility of the student/parent/guardian and will result in the student being charged the full replacement cost to purchase a new device.


Insurance- $50 individual **Maximum of $100/family

Optional insurance for student mobile devices is available for purchase up to 10 days after receiving the Chromebook. Parents and/or guardian(s) may opt in (or out) to purchase Student Device Insurance coverage to help offset the expense of damages to student devices. This Student Device Insurance premium will cover one school year, is non-refundable and will not be prorated. The replacement of a lost Chromebook case or charger will not be covered under insurance.

Payment can be made in the school office or on the night of pickup.
