826NYC's Write Together field trips are available in-person as well as online. We're excited to work with you and your young authors to craft novel adventures, compelling characters, and unexpected twists and turns!
Trips are 120 minutes and are available Monday-Thursday, 10:30am-12:30pm. If you have specific scheduling needs, please indicate this in the final question on this form ("Anything else?") and we will follow up regarding your request.
Basic details for Write Together IN-PERSON trips:
- Cost: $250 for Title 1 schools, and $500 for all other schools.
>>> Please note that this is a flat fee and is not dependent on how many students attend.
- Trips meet at our center in Park Slope: 372 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn.
- Please note that our space can only accommodate 1 class at a time, and we have a maximum capacity of 35 students.
Basic details for Write Together VIRTUAL field trips:
- Cost: $100 for Title I schools, and $250 for all other schools.
>>> Please note that this is a flat fee and is not dependent on how many students actually participate. - Available via Zoom or Google Meet.
- 826NYC will mail you a book kit in advance of your trip!
- Please note that this is a highly participatory workshop, so for virtual field trips we are also limited to one class per field trip.
