JNeurosci publishing experience
The objective of this survey is to collect data regarding the JNeurosci publishing experience of scientists in the behavioral and computational neuroscience fields. We wish to ask a simple question: what has been the impact of papers published in JNeurosci that have relied primarily on psychophysical tools to measure behavior? We are particularly interested in quantifying impact of JNeurosci papers that were published without inclusion of any neural correlates (e.g., without fMRI, EEG, non-invasive brain stimulation, or patients).

We are asking this question because current policies of JNeurosci stipulate that a paper is not suited for publication if "findings do not inform us about or implicate a specific neural mechanism."

Thank you for your participation. --Reza Shadmehr
