After we stopped that, we decided to keep our campaign going, and to keep working to empower our communities. We've been meeting monthly since then and have been active with a ton of stuff including ...

SOUL campaign (http://www.soulstopsha.org/)
Submitting and giving evidence at hearings to ensure that we stop the proliferation of alcohol outlets in our area
Pushing for a new Mangere East Community Hub
Advocating for the community with new developments in the area eg: Mangere East Countdown
Keeping a close eye on the East-West Link

ROCC members have been discussing the prospect of putting up a ROCC ticket to stand as a team of advocates for our community in the 2016 Auckland Council elections in September next year. We would like to hear your opinions on this proposal.
