Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bagel Maker to join our production team at Perfecto's Caffe in Reading, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience in baking, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality bagels. This role involves preparing, boiling, and baking bagels while ensuring consistency and excellence in every batch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dough Preparation: Mix, knead, and shape bagel dough according to our established recipes and specifications.
• Boiling and Baking: Boil bagels to achieve the perfect texture, then bake them to a golden finish.
• Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure all bagels meet our high standards for flavor, texture, and appearance.
• Ingredient Management: Accurately measure and prepare ingredients, maintaining a focus on freshness and quality.
• Sanitation and Cleanliness: Keep the production area and equipment clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of bagels for café service.
• Inventory Support: Assist in tracking inventory levels and restocking ingredients as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in baking or food production, particularly with bagels or similar baked goods, is preferred.
• Coachability is a must.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
